  Once you’ve passed your official in-person exam you’ll have gained your Maths Foundation iGCSE.

  As this Maths Course is a Foundation Tier you will be graded between levels 1-5 (5 being a strong pass/the highest). It is categorised as a Level 2 qualification.

  We have five examination centres around the country: Bolton, Coventry, Doncaster, St Neots Cambridgeshire and Wimbledon. These are  all approved by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) for you to sit your exams.

  What are iGCSEs?

  GCSEs are the compulsory qualifications taken by students in the UK between the ages of 14 and 16 which lead to further studies, such as A Levels, or other international equivalent qualifications, before progressing onto university. International General Certificate of Secondary Education, also known as iGCSEs, are the ‘international’ version of GCSE, and they are available in many countries around the world.

  What’s the difference between iGCSE and GCSE?

  The differences between iGCSE and GCSE are very minor. GCSEs are only available in the UK and a small number of other counties, whereas iGCSEs can be taken in over 150 counties across the world. They are both equivalent qualifications that are highly regarded and accepted by universities and employers within the UK.

  So, who are iGCSEs suitable for?

  iGCSEs are the most popular international qualification for those aged 14-16 around the world. They are the qualifications you’ll need to progress to higher education or professional studies, either in your home country or overseas.

  iGCSEs are often taken by students who wish to:

  • get a place at a university or college, either in your home country or overseas
  • pass the language tests to emigrate or study in another country, for example, achieving a grade C or above in iGCSE English is usually the pre-requisite that some universities in English-speaking nations have in order to apply

  This iGCSE Maths qualification is an internationally recognised qualification which means it will be accepted and recognised by colleges, universities and employers around the world.

  When do I get my Maths Foundation iGCSE?

  Once you are enrolled you can start learning online straight away – there are no timetables to follow so you can study at your own speed with complete flexibility.

  They’ll be fun online quizzes to help you assess your knowledge as you go. Once you’ve worked your way through all the maths modules, you’ll be provided with a mock exam to help you prepare for sitting the official iGCSE Maths Pearson Edexcel exam.
