Whether you’re looking to get a better qualification for higher education, carve out your future career path, or simply looking for self-improvement – iGCSEs are the answer!
With an English Literature iGCSE under your belt, you could go on to write a best-selling novel, become a press officer or become a world-famous actor!
As you work through your course, you’ll be exploring over 400 years of English literature, learning about the historic work of classic authors and their famous works, such as Shakespeare, through to looking into modern-day poetry and language.
You’ll develop your skills in reading and writing, which are transferable skills which will help you in your further studies and your future career.
A GCSE grade 4 (formerly grade C) or above in English Literature is often required to apply for college, university and well-paid jobs.
Additional benefits of this course include:
You have two years to complete your iGCSE English Literature course, but it can be completed in just 6 months! If you find that you need more time, you can always extend your 2 years of access.
There are 120 hours of learning required with this iGCSE.
You’ll need to take exams into account, however, as exam sittings are held once per year in May or June.
We have 5 examination centres: Bolton, Coventry, Doncaster, St Neots Cambridgeshire and Wimbledon. All of our centres have been approved for you to take your GCSE exam by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).
