  • Accreditations

    On completion of your studies, and the in-person exam, you will have gained an accredited Maths Higher Tier GCSE.

    GCSEs are graded on a nine-point scale, where 9 is the best grade you can get. With a Higher Tier qualification, you are awarded a grade between 4 to 9. Should you fail to get a grade 4, you will be awarded grade 3. However, if you fail to reach a grade 3, your results will be recorded as U (unclassified).

    We have five examination centres around the country: Bolton, Coventry, Doncaster, St Neots Cambridgeshire and Wimbledon. These are all approved by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) for you to sit your exams.

    With your Maths GCSE Higher Tier, there are 140-hours of guided learning and could be completed in just 6 months!

    You’ll need to take exams into account, however, as exam sittings are held once per year in May or June.

    What are GCSEs?

    General Certificates of Secondary Education, often referred to as GCSEs are graded on a 9-point scale (9 is the best grade). With this Higher Tier you can achieve up to a grade 9 – the highest possible.

    When do I get my Maths (Higher Tier) GCSE?

    This is an online course, with quizzes to help you along the way. You’ll also be provided with a mock exam to help you prepare for sitting the official exam.

    Are there any requirements to do my Maths (Higher Tier) GCSE?

    There are no entry requirements to enrol on this course but as this is the Higher Tier qualification you are graded between 4 to 9. If you fail to achieve a grade 4 then you will be awarded a grade 3. If you fail to reach grade 3 then you will be recorded as U (unclassified).
