FAQs - your questions answered

"Can I change the specialist courses to something else?"

Unfortunately not. We carefully picked the additional specialist courses based on customer feedback and our expert TEFL knowledge. If you want to keep studying (which we always encourage!) we offer several other specialist courses, so if there’s something else you fancy you can always add it on later.

"How soon before I’m teaching abroad?"

Keen to get out there and live the TEFL dream? You could be teaching in the sunshine in as little as three months.

We find most people take four to six weeks to complete the 120 hour online course. You can complete the classroom course at any point, it's totally up to you. It’s up to you whether you want to wait until you’ve completed the specialist courses before applying for jobs but the minimum requirement for TEFL is 120 hours training.

"Where can I teach abroad?"

The world really is your oyster when it comes to teaching English as a foreign language! You can teach anywhere where English is not a first language – it’s a lot of places. Just pick your dream destination and you could be there sooner than you think!
