Lisa lives on a farm in the hills of South Africa! She previously worked as a TEFL teacher, travelling to many different countries, before becoming a TEFL tutor for new TEFL teachers. She has over 18 years of teaching experience and likes to sing and write in her spare time!
Natalie hails from Kent in the UK and she has over 20 years of teaching experience! She has worked in many countries, including Thailand and Moldova. She currently specialises in teaching academic English online, alongside her work as a TEFL tutor to new and aspiring TEFL teachers.
Bryan is a born traveller and TEFL trainer, who has been to over 39 countries! He has taught in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Brazil, and has over 16 years of teaching experience. He even has his own English Language School in San Diego!
Teresa is one of our longest serving tutors! She has 22 years of teaching experience and has taught all over the world, including Greece and Scandinavia. Although her permanent home is in London, she spends about 40% of her time living in South India and Sri Lanka, so she hasn’t lost the travel bug!
Clare is a very calming presence and (probably because of this!) specialises in teaching Exam Preparation. She has over 16 years of teaching experience and currently lives in Scotland. When she’s not working she likes an active lifestyle, preferring to go cycling and walking in the countryside!
Another of our tutors that hails from bonnie Scotland, Suzanne has worked in TEFL for almost 20 years! She taught in Italy for 10 of those years and has taught in a variety of settings, from private language schools to universities! She then set up her own school, which operates online as well as in the classroom!
Sharon started her TEFL journey by teaching in her home country of Singapore. She then became a CELTA Teacher Trainer in 2009 and an Assessor in 2014, and is now working as the Head of Teacher Training and Senior Teacher at St Giles International in New York City! So, you’re in very safe hands!
Karen escaped the rainy shores of the UK and now lives in the beautiful mountain town of Atlacomulco in Mexico! She has 30 years of teaching experience and has taught in a variety of locations, including Russia and Japan. She absolutely loves teacher training and is extremely organised!
Tammy qualified as an English Language Teacher back in 2008! She has taught in Spain, Italy, and Portugal, and in a variety of settings, from universities to hospitals. She now works primarily as an examiner and an as an Online TEFL Tutor. When she isn’t working she loves eating good food and getting out into nature!
Although Peter is originally from Sussex in England, he has lived in the Czech Republic for the last 26 years, and has been teaching EFL for over 27 years! For the last 16 years he has also been training TEFL teachers and he loves motivating people to achieve their goals.
Born and raised in California, Jennifer has been a TEFL teacher for the last 22 years. She started teaching TESOL training courses in 2003 and joined us here at i-to-i in 2006! She loves travel, foreign languages, and experiencing new cultures, and has worked in multiple locations, including Chile and Argentina.
