Watch the first in a 3 part series of webinars, where we discuss the Myths Behind Volunteer Travel. First up 'Volunteer and Youth Travel Trends'

Setting up camp back in 1994, i-to-i is the original volunteer travel company. Partnering up with over 80 projects from all over the world, we supply our projects with what they need the most - helping hands and support in the form of motivated and hardworking volunteers.

We’ve been proud to welcome over 55,000 eager travellers to volunteer abroad at our projects over the years and thanks to the help of these dedicated volunteers and the know how of our local in-country teams, our projects grow organically and sustainably. This eliminates the possibility of aid reliance and instead focuses effort into self sustainability and being able to naturally provide a service, such as building homes for families or teaching, to those in need.

By choosing to volunteer overseas with us you’ll not only be playing a crucial part in aiding our projects’ future development, but an essential role in strengthening i-to-i’s global network of support too. By allowing our volunteers to contribute for short, flexible periods of time, they can then pass the baton on to another eager volunteer- assuring that the hard work that you’ve put in yourself whilst conducting your own volunteering work abroad will persist once you’ve landed back on home soil.

You’ll also receive first class care before you’ve even started your voluntary work; our team- which is based both in the UK and Australia, is made up of experienced travellers who will be able to answer any questions you may have. When you arrive in country you’ll be picked up at the airport before receiving a detailed orientation which will outline your impending volunteering work. Here you’ll be able to ask our in-country coordinators any other questions you may have, and as they know the area and the projects like the back of their hands, you’ll be able to settle in right away!

If you’re interested in volunteering overseas with us, have a gander around the website and if you have any questions please feel free to give our friendly travel advisors a call!
