Known by many as ‘the cradle of civilisation’ and home to some of the most spectacular wildlife reserves on the planet, travelling to Kenya offers a whole host of opportunities.
The Indian Ocean coastline is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in East Africa, but that's not all- the people in Kenya are friendly, travel is relatively inexpensive and everyone speaks English... fantastic! Our projects in Kenya offer a nice, easy introduction to travelling in Africa, and will give you the chance to see a part of this beautiful continent and make a real difference to those who you meet along your way.
If you want to volunteer in Kenya, there are lots of opportunities to get involved! We’ve been working with locally run volunteering groups for years and are in a unique position to help you find community development, conservation and teaching placements in Kenya. We support many of these project through i-to-i’s Big Giving programme, and as a part of this scheme we donate a sum of money directly to the project for every trip booked.
