Cambodia is becoming increasingly popular amongst travel fans in the know, and that's why we want to take you there to volunteer! Although the country is still relatively unknown to the tourist masses, the people that do visit Cambodia flock to the spectacular Temples of Angkor, where the ruins of the great Khmer kingdom lie partially hidden in the jungle, and the buzzing Phnom Penh.
The past is always close at hand in this beautiful country, and the devastation caused by the Khmer Rouge can not be ignored. If you are thinking of volunteering in Cambodia, we work with locally run childrens homes in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap so you can make a difference whilst you're away. These projects are a part of i-to-i’s Helping Hands Foundation, and aim to help the country recover from the legacy of its troubled past.
If you're planning on visiting South East Asia in your travels abroad, a visit to Cambodia is an absolute must. Check out our trips below for more information!
