Cambodia is becoming increasingly popular amongst travel fans in the know, and that's why we want to take you there! Although the country is still relatively unknown to the tourist masses, the people that do visit Cambodia flock to the spectacular Temples of Angkor, where the ruins of the great Khmer kingdom lie partially hidden in the jungle, and the buzzing Phnom Penh.
The past is always close at hand in this beautiful country, and the devastation caused by the Khmer Rouge can not be ignored. If you are thinking of volunteering in Cambodia, we work with locally run orphanages and children’s homes in Phnom Penh. These projects are a part of i-to-i’s Big Giving scheme, and aim to help the country recover from the legacy of its troubled past.
If you're planning on visiting South East Asia in your travels abroad, a visit to Cambodia is an absolute must. Take a look at our 'volunteer Cambodia' section for more information about our projects!
