Not only has it had to deal with economic insecurity and years of civil war, but it has never quite recovered from the battering it took when Hurricane Mitch hit in 1998. By getting involved with volunteering in Honduras you will make a huge difference to the lives of the people of this beautiful but often troubled country. If you choose to become a volunteer in Honduras you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the country, its people and culture by living and working alongside local people.
