A stunning archipelago of over 7,000 sub-tropical islands, the Philippines do not feature on your average traveller's itinerary. This is a real shame as filipinos are some of the friendliest people you are ever likely to meet and travel in the Philippines has much to offer the traveller: stunning scenery, excellent diving, beautiful beaches, cheap transport, good food and great accommodation, to name but a few. Our advice, get there as soon as you can and enjoy all that the Philippines has to offer.

If you want to get involved with volunteering in the Philippines, you’re in the right place. We have contacts across the island, so you could find yourself working with community groups or teaching English in the Philippines and helping the continued development of this beautiful and hospitable country.

You could not do much better than volunteering in the Philippines for your overseas travels or your gap year in the Philippines, whether you choose to work with street children in the Philippines or help orphans in the Phiippines. It is still very much an off the beaten track kind of place, but it can be easily reached from Malaysia, Indonesia or Thailand.
