The TEFL course starts at 09:00 and finishes at 18:00, on both Saturday and Sunday. You should arrive for the course at around 08:45 to make sure the tutor can start promptly. If you are late, simply ask a member of staff to escort you to the room.
You will get a morning and a lunch break on both days of the course, along with an afternoon break on the Saturday. You will be provided with free tea and coffee in your morning and afternoon breaks.
There is an onsite café on the ground floor of the Sydney venue, which has an extensive lunch menu. Alternatively there are fast food options such as Subway, McDonalds and KFC within Railway Square (3min walk).
There isn’t really a dress code for the TEFL course, other than you should wear something that you can imagine wearing in a classroom environment.
Excellent TEFL course i have ever taken... really helpful and paves way for you to move forth with your career without any hindrances.
This course is very straightforward, the setup of everything is easy. i do however feel it needs more colour and imagery to grab ones attention a bit more.
I-to-I has brought me good insites on how to approach my lessons and a better way on how to prepare them
It was very instructional, nicely explained and interesting. I would recommend this course to anyone. Thank you for this experience.
I really enjoyed the course, it was easy to learn online and I have a good knowledge about teaching now. I recommend to other people as well. Thanks TEFL
I was very impressed with i-to-i.I found the course well structured and easy to move through the different sections without any hitches. The back up I received from customer support was superb with friendly, efficient service.
A very useful course to get introduced to teaching, learning different methods of approaching the various topics and understanding the difficulties that might arise inside a classroom. With the use of interactive quizzes and real teaching videos everything becomes fun, interesting and practical. I definitely recommend it!
Did the IELTS coach course. Loved it! Very interesting, packed with useful tips, facts, tasks, acitivities etc. Learned a lot and can't wait to use these skills in practise! I highly recommend i-to-i!
It's a great experience to be apart of as you indulge in different cultures and also learn along the way.
I have just finished the 120-hour course and I can state that I am very satisfied with the entire experience. I can't help but give it 5 stars! Prior to taking this course, I had already had plenty of exposure to most of the TEFL content, as I have a Masters degree in the field of English Language Teaching and Education. Still, I really learned a myriad of new things while leafing through this course and answering the quizzes. What I liked most about this TEFL course is that it combined theory and practice on a balanced basis, highlighting all the important and essential aspects of English language teaching as well as the practicalities inside the classroom. The section about lesson planning was the most beneficial of all in my opinion. It gives you an in-depth insight into the intricate, multitudinous process of teaching. However, no one and nothing is perfect. I have some bad impressions and remarks about this course. First of all, there are many silly spelling mistakes (or maybe errors, e.g., focussing and focussed); seeing these kinds of avoidable typos repeatedly was very disturbing for me. Also, some questions in the quizzes are ambiguous and/or open for different answers. When you ask a person, "What do you think.../Do you think....", that is an inquiry about the person's opinion; therefore, there is no such thing as true/false for that kind of answer. Some questions are open for different interpretations, thus different answers. But all things considered, I have nothing to say about the content of the course, as it is extremely enriching and very helpful for anyone who wants to partake in the adventure of teaching English as a foreign language, whether that someone has had previous knowledge about this field or just a complete, green beginner. In short, I advise anyone who is planning to teach English abroad to take this interesting course. Both the content and the certificate will be a massive addition to your career as an EFL teacher! Thank you abundantly, i-to-i TEFL! All the best for the future!
