What time should I arrive at the hotel?
The running times for the TEFL course are as follows: Saturday – 09:00-18:00 Sunday – 09:00-18:00 We advise arriving at the venue at about 08:45 to ensure that your tutor can begin on time. Once you arrive at the venue, the reception staff will be able to point you in the right direction if required.
When are the breaks?
You will get a break in the morning, lunch and afternoon on the Saturday and on the Sunday you will get a break in the morning and at lunch time. You will get free tea and coffee at your morning and afternoon breaks.
What can I do for lunch?
The George Williams’ hotel has its own bar and restaurant (325 on George) offering a range of dishes, but if you’d prefer to venture out on your lunch break, there are lots of eateries right on your doorstep! Subway and Java Coast Café are both opposite the venue; and Firefly is just round the corner, famed for its pizza and salads.
How should I dress?
We just advise you dress like you would in a classroom situation; comfortable enough to take part is some of the group activities – something like jeans and trainers will be fine.
