Once in Leuchars, you can catch the 99A bus service to St Andrews bus station, and then catch the 92 from Kinburn Park (which is a 2 minute walk from the bus station, just off Doubledykes Road) . Parking in St Andrews is limited, so it's best to call the venue to check if you need to book a spot, but you should be able to find some off-street parking near the apartments.
FAQs

FAQs

When should I arrive?

All TEFL Courses in St Andrews start at 9:00 am. To avoid having to rush into the room and get started right away, we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes earlier. This gives you plenty of time to find the right room in the venue (do ask reception for directions, if you’re unsure or new to the venue), as well as a chance to speak to your fellow TEFL coursemates before the lesson begins.

What should I bring with me?

Learning materials are provided by the TEFL tutor, but we always recommend that you bring your own pen and a pad of paper to take notes with. If you like having water during class, feel free to bring a water bottle along. Complimentary tea and coffee will be available during the breaks.

An all round good course that is packed full of excellent resources and ideas. The certificate from the 60 hour Business course will also add more value to my C.V. Thank you.

TEFL is very clear and there is no way for you to get confused in any part of the course.

This course is a very good one! Having completed the course, I feel motivated and very confident about teaching English, a topic that I had never considered teaching before. Additionally, previously I would have wanted to avoid teaching little children because I did not know how to maximize teaching content in their short attention spans. However, the advice and guidance given in this course have broadened my horizons as I now feel confident to teach any age group. Thank you i-to-1.com!

The subject matter was very informative and thorough. The assessments after each subsection was well structured and some were thought provoking. Challenging and quite intense but worth the effort and commitment.

Just completed a well structured 120Hr TEFL course. I did not log the time I was on-line, but do not believe it was anything like 120 hours. If the guide of hours include the time spent away from being log-on, then maybe a guide of 120 hours would be appropriate, but still generous. So don't expect to need to spend more than this time to complete the course. The overall time you have access to complete the course in more than adequate. So even with limited hours per week to dedicate to the course, you should still be able to complete, but there is a provision to extend your time if required. If you are able to dedicate larger time block then you benefit from being able to complete the course sections, and I found this helped me keep focus of the topic. The course is from a ODLQC Accredited Provider, and this is reflected by its contents and support. The support team has been exceptional. Prompt replies, detailed support, and from forward facing staff that excel at providing good customer service.

make me learn a lot and think a lot.

The lessons are made easy. The quizzes help in letting you know how well you're doing before the main test.

This course offers a great teaching framework and a lot of practical information

The course was very interesting because it made me look at English from a completely different perspective, which was from a foreign point of view. This meant we had to break the language down into the basic building blocks i.e. pronunciation, tone, spelling, vocabulary and tenses. This made me realise there was much more to the language than I thought there was. Furthermore, the course taught me a lot about the different learning styles and which are the most effective for certain students. Teaching English as a foreign language sure isn't easy; it requires a lot of planning and skill which is challenging, but this is what I look forward to most when beginning my teaching experience. Overall, this course has given me great insight into the world of English language and has helped me realise that I definitely want to do some teaching abroad as soon as possible!

WOW! What an amazing experience! I did the 120 Hour TEFL Course and couldn't be happier. The service from start to finish was unbelievably efficient. I already have my teaching degree and I truly feel that the course content covers all the basics for an aspiring teacher. The course itself was quick to work through with some challenging aspects but it wasn't to bad to do. The marking of my assessment took only a few hours, so I was really impressed. I would recommend this course to anyone.
