Liverpool Lime Street Station is a 20 minute walk away. You can also catch a bus from the station to the venue. From Liverpool Lime Street, you can catch a bus (bus service 500 or 82A) outside St Johns Market on Elliot Street then get off at Liverpool One Bus Station and from there catch the 86 or 86a and alight at Albert Dock. The bus journey total is 8 minutes. Then it’s just a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Be sure to check bus times, before choosing your route.
The hotel has a bar menu which serves sandwiches and lunches from 11am. The hotel is directly next door to Pizza Express, and if you are coming from the bus station or train station you'll pass many shops and cafés on the way such as Costa, Starbucks and Tesco Express. There's also a sandwich shop on the dock itself called the Gallery Café, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Both TEFL Courses in Liverpool begin at 9:00 am. We recommend to get to the hotel a little earlier, so you have time to find your way around and meet some of your coursemates before lessons start. The hotel has a breakout area on the conference floor where you can wait until you are shown by trainers/organizers which room you will be in. If you are late for the course, please call reception and they can pass your message on to the tutor. Once you arrive, let reception know what you’re there for and they’ll be able to direct you to the right room.
No need to overthink your wardrobe, unless, of course, that’s what you like doing. TEFL students usually opt for casual wear. There’s no formal dress code for the course.
Generally speaking the course is a great one. My only regret is not having known of you and done the course a long time ago.
The two days where a lot of fun and we all learned loads. We made loads of new friends and the instructor was brilliant. Highly recommended.
This course was structured well and easy to follow with lots of valuable activities to test knowledge.
Really enjoy the support and the expansive amount of information not only for learning but for additional information. The videos are one of the biggest pluses to see the techniques in live practice! Looking forward to my Thailand volunteer experience next!
Best course and internship that I have ever done.I am looking forward to learn more with i-toi.
Very good course ! I really enjoyed it ! Highly recommend to everyone :)
Overall, the course has done what its promised to do. Its given me some pretty standard information on beginning an adventure as an English teacher and I do feel more prepared for that task now. I've seen some bad reviews but I honestly can't see why. I didn't pay for express marking but I received my grade the same day I submitted my lesson plan, I also received feedback on it and was informed that I had passed the course. I just checked my email and I see that my e-certificate is also ready! Overall, I'm pleased with my experience and excited to see where this adventure takes me!
I have learnt a lot from TEFL , i am currently still busy with the 180 hour course which provides a lot of insight and makes it easy on you once you get to start teaching. The course is a bit tricky though, i am hoping the final test is not going to beat me. Overall TEFL is great.
I purchased a 300 hours course. I have completed some sections and I am super happy with the course. The tutors are extremely helpful and have been able to assist with any query I have put forward (not to mention putting my mind at ease). The content is superb! I even find it useful when teaching regular classes!
Lisa, our trainer was AMAZING ! She was friendly, active, approachable and full of life, never a dull moment during the two days of training & practice. One of the best training i have attended in many years.
