Liverpool Lime Street Station is a 20 minute walk away. You can also catch a bus from the station to the venue. From Liverpool Lime Street, you can catch a bus (bus service 500 or 82A) outside St Johns Market on Elliot Street then get off at Liverpool One Bus Station and from there catch the 86 or 86a and alight at Albert Dock. The bus journey total is 8 minutes. Then it’s just a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Be sure to check bus times, before choosing your route.
The hotel has a bar menu which serves sandwiches and lunches from 11am. The hotel is directly next door to Pizza Express, and if you are coming from the bus station or train station you'll pass many shops and cafés on the way such as Costa, Starbucks and Tesco Express. There's also a sandwich shop on the dock itself called the Gallery Café, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
Both TEFL Courses in Liverpool begin at 9:00 am. We recommend to get to the hotel a little earlier, so you have time to find your way around and meet some of your coursemates before lessons start. The hotel has a breakout area on the conference floor where you can wait until you are shown by trainers/organizers which room you will be in. If you are late for the course, please call reception and they can pass your message on to the tutor. Once you arrive, let reception know what you’re there for and they’ll be able to direct you to the right room.
No need to overthink your wardrobe, unless, of course, that’s what you like doing. TEFL students usually opt for casual wear. There’s no formal dress code for the course.
Really a great course. It helped me to review the grammar and gave me good knowlage of teaching! Thank you TEFL
It's a great course and very well structured.
The face to face component was absolutely brilliant. Amy was energetic, enthusiastic and extremely experienced and knowledgeable. The online component was extremely well structured.
One of the most accommodating, friendly and easy to use course. The work was very informative and easy to understand. Loved that they have super friendly staff.
The 20 hour classroom course teaches the 10 key core skills for an effective and engaging lesson. Our tutor Meryl was excellent! She taught us so many different techniques and skills that you can apply to any age and level. We had the opportunity to practice by teaching the class, we made several lesson plans and were given detailed feedback on our teaching and ways to improve. I feel more confident I have the skills to deliver engaging and effective lessons. I think everybody who is considering to teach abroad should take this course! Thank you!!
It gave me more confidence with a lot of knowledge
I enjoyed learning the material, and never felt bored or overwhelmed. The course was full of really useful information and examples. I feel ready and excited to start teaching!
I loved the very organized structure and the very detailed information. The online training has really made me more comfortable teaching and has given me many very useful tips for essential teaching. I have really enjoyed the training and have been able to learn a lot. Espcially the section about grammar has made me more self-confident for future teaching situations.
I enjoy the course was very practical, creative and motivated the teacher was brilliant. I suggest may the use of music if is possible as 10 the hours could be a little bit long and student can be exhausted. I am really happy with the course and I can say it was really nice one, the best I have ever never undertake before!
The 120 hour TEFL was a Great course that I really enjoyed doing. It was challenging but not impossible with a workload that I could easily manage whilst working full time. I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone thinking about teaching English abroad!
