You’ll also want to make sure you get at least 120 hours of training, which is the industry benchmark for employers worldwide.

How much can I earn teaching English abroad?

Teacher salaries vary from country to country so it does depend where you teach, but most TEFL roles will pay a salary that’s enough to live comfortably by local standards. Top end? In some countries you could earn up to £2,000 a month!

Can I teach English abroad without a second language?

You don’t need to speak another language to teach English abroad. Many schools prefer that TEFL lessons take place completely in English, so that’s all you need.

Where can I teach English abroad?

Once you’re TEFL qualified, the doors will open to thousands of roles all over the world, in any country where people are keen to learn English. This basically means there are opportunities everywhere!

Will I get help finding work?
