Planning on TEFLing in Southeast Asia? A great way to spend a few days off is to attend one of the many music festivals taking place throughout the year. And we’ve put together a list of the best festivals to keep an eye out for. We’re nice like that.
- Wonderfruit Festival
When is it? Usually around the middle of December
Where is it? Held at Siam Country Club in Pattaya, Thailand
What is it? A 3-day celebration of music, arts, food and ideas – with plenty for everyone. The camping facilities are great and they’ve even got RFID wristbands so you don’t need to worry about carrying cash on you!
- Quest Music Festival
When is it? Start of November
Where is it? Held in Ba Vi National Park, Vietnam
What is it? A weekend of music, arts and camping in stunning surroundings. You can expect some great live acts and DJs, as well as plenty of opportunity to mix with likeminded travellers – ideal!
- It’s the Ship
When is it? Usually towards the end of November
Where is it? On a cruise ship, going from Singapore to Langkawi and back to Singapore
What is it? A 3-day cruising experience on a luxurious liner filled with amazing restaurants, countless activities and – most importantly – plenty of music! With more than 30 headlining acts, you won’t struggle to find something to your taste. And all of this while you’re travelling around Malaysia – wow!
