Profile: I currently live in Manchester after a year of working as a language instructor in Japan. I love to travel independently and my best adventure to date was a trip from Japan to England alone by land in 2008, which saw me travel through South Korea, China, Russia, Estonia and Finland via overnight boats, coaches, trains and the Trans- Siberian express. I also love Europe and city breaks and went to New York for the first time last autumn. Next up on my travelling list is a wander around Barcelona in late May.Contact Denise >

Profile: Sarah previously worked as a showbiz reporter for ITV in London before succumbing to the travel bug and taking a second year out to travel China, southeast Asia and Australia in 2007/08. Having grown up in South Africa, Sarah takes particular interest in issues relating to that continent - a passion also fuelled by a volunteer placement on a Ghanaian newspaper before university and subsequent tours of Benin, Togo, Burkina Faso, Mali, Morocco and Zimbabwe. Aside from travel writing, Sarah runs a book shop off a converted barge in Staffordshire and plays tennis.

Profile:Catherine graduated from Kingston University with a degree in English literature and has since developed a strong interest in travel. Catherine's travel experiences to date have centred in Europe and include; France, Italy, Germany, Belgium and Barcelona. A passion for travel has been further enhanced by working as a travel writer; interests outside writing involve an awful lot of reading, foreign cinema, drama, poetry and dance.
