Here are some comments from customers who have already been to Vietnam with i-to-i:
"The past week was so amazing for me and my partners from China. It's fantastic that we chose HCMC, Vietnam and i-to-i because we've experienced the best time of my life so far.
Basically, we got up early in the morning and went to the cooking house to do the deliver work. We worked very hard and got to know many great local volunteers. All the local volunteers devote themselves to helping the poor people, which is so touching. After hearing the bad situation of the poor patients and the stories of the local volunteers, we worked harder, more willingly and more dedicatedly. Of course, the work at cooking house is very tough for all of us because we barely do any housework at home in China. The first is difficult but we soon found some ways to get relaxed and accelerate our working efficiency.
Every time when we gave the food to the poor patients and saw their bitter-sweet smiles, we felt relived and rewarding. Yeah, we fell in love with this work and became more and more willing to help others. Yesterday is Saturday, we meant to have a good rest in hotel but on the contrary, we got up early to work as usual. We felt more than happy to do so and we met some local college freshmen, who became our good friends. Also, we made friends with other i-to-i volunteers. We shard our stories, experiences and memories. We work hard and play hard together.
Undoubtedly, we had a great time in Vietnam and I personally consider this is the best period of time in my life. Next week, I'll be back in China and get busy with something else. Definitely, I'm going to miss everything and everyone here in Vietnam. I do hope I could stay longer and contribute more to the cooking house projects because this project is so hard that few volunteers want to participate in it. Before I leave, I do wish more and more people could take part in this project and help the poor patients. I don't how much these two weeks are going to change me but it definitely help to shape my future life -- help others and stop counting the rewards. Thank you, i-to-i, for giving me a good memory, helping me define my future and sparkling my life."
