Despite the sky-scrapers of Bangkok and the 5 star tourist hotels that pepper the southern islands, Thailand remains a pretty poor country. Many Thai people live below the poverty line and have no access to health care or education. By volunteering in Thailand with i-to-i, your time and effort will make a huge difference to the lives and futures of the people you meet on your journey. You’ll also gain a deeper appreciation of the country and people by living and working alongside local people.
We work with community development, conservation and English teaching projects across Thailand.
