Volunteer Reports

It’s all very well us telling you that volunteering abroad will be one of the most incredible experiences of your entire life but it doesn’t mean half as much as when a past volunteer (someone who’s been there, done that and come home with a ton of unforgettable memories) tells you! We’ve put together a collection of our volunteers fond reminisces so you can find out what they did, why they did it and just how much it meant to them!

South America

"I absolutely loved my stay at Jambeli and in Ecuador and feel that my time flew by too quickly! It was very difficult to choose a placement and I couldn’t be happier with my choice…"

Central America

"I enjoyed the program especially because I feel there could have been no better way to be immersed in the culture."

Africa

"Each morning I was welcomed by an amazing view across the lion park and often had to dodge the odd zebra or giraffe on the way to the shower blocks. At night, I soon became accustomed to roars of the lions or howls of the wild dogs, instead of the local traffic that I could hear back home."

Victoria Mann, Lion Park in South Africa.

Asia

"What can I say other than that I am utterly loving it in India!! My placement is brilliant, the children are fantastic and the other volunteers are just a great laugh!"

Flynn Lund, Community Development in India
