Will you help preserve this piece of paradise?

This project offers a unique opportunity for keen conservationists to live and work on one of Thailand's most stunning and famous islands - Koh Tao. Situated just off the southern cost of Thailand, Koh Tao is regarded as one of Thailand's best kept secrets boasting spectacular sites, miles of white sandy beaches, lush jungle and world class diving opportunities. Working on the island, willing helpers are needed to preserve their stunning surroundings whilst educating future generations to do the same. Volunteer on Koh Tao and you will not only have the opportunity to support a vast range of conservation activities, but you will also play a part in helping to conserve this slice of paradise for years to come.

  • Activities:Beach-reef cleaning and data collection, tanote tree and grass planting, helping with recycle bin surveys and maintenance, distribution of environmental awareness material
  • Working Hours:Flexible; Mon-Sun approximately 6 to 8 hours per day with one or two days off, all other time is free
  • Getting to the project: 15-20 minute walk from accommodation
  • Requirements:Minimum age 18

What's Included

  • Accommodation:Shared room in guesthouse.
  • Food:Food is not included; you will need to purchase your own food (budget approximately US$100 per week)
  • Airport Pickup:Included on arrival date. Ask us for details if you’re arriving early!
  • Training:In-country orientation 
  • Support:Pre-departure helpdesk, Local in-country team and 24hr emergency support
