Travel India
Travel in India is one of life’s great journeys: its sheer size, the seeming chaos of it's cities, the beauty of it's ancient monuments and the weight of 5,000 years of history combine to make travel in India quite unlike any other travel experience you will ever have. But there is more to travel in India than sight seeing trips to the Taj Mahal, the desert cities of Rajasthan and the Ganges river-temples at Varanasi.
When you travel to India with i-to-i, you will gain a unique insight into modern life on the subcontinent. As with much of Asia, poverty is a real problem in India. By volunteering in India you can help to make a difference to the lives and futures of some of the 250 million people who live in poverty in India. You could chose to get involved with community work in Calcutta, teach English in Darjeeling, or even work with a community newspaper in Bangalore. Whatever project you choose, you can rest assured that your time and effort will make a real and lasting difference to people's lives.
