When you choose to travel in Brazil with i-to-i, you will gain a deeper and more authentic understanding of the 5th largest country on the planet. The vast interior of the country is largely covered by the green expanses of the Amazon rainforests while the coastline is home to some of the world’s finest and most famous beaches – Ipanema and Copacabana to name only two. No trip to Brazil would be complete without a visit to Rio de Janeiro – where you can get involved with volunteer projects ranging from preparing a Carnival, to renovating some of the many favelas that cling to the hillsides.
Despite its many natural resources, Brazil remains a very poor country. By choosing to volunteer in Brazil with i-to-i, you will not only make an important contribution to the country and its people, but you will gain a deeper understanding of the problems and challenges that Brazil faces. We work with community development, English teaching, building and sports coaching projects across the country. So there are plenty of opportunities to get involved, travel in Brazil and make a difference.
