The only TEFL courses that are open to everyone.
Here at i-to-i we strongly believe in equal opportunities and as such our TEFL courses are open to everyone - whatever their nationality, race or educational history. We believe that if you can speak English, you can be taught to teach English. You don’t need previous experience, a degree or any other qualifications for that matter. In fact, as long as you have a Cambridge CAE, IELTS level 6.5 or equivalent, you don’t even need to have English as your first language!
Though many schools overseas demand teachers who speak English as their native language, there are a fair number of schools that don’t. There are lots of TEFL teachers working overseas who are not native English speakers, so don’t let that hold you back!
