i-to-i : The World’s Most Respected TEFL Courses

Teaching english abroadi-to-i is internationally renowned as a world leader in innovative TEFL training. We’ve been in the business for 12 years and now train over 10,000 TEFL teachers a year. Our philosophy now is the same as it has always been: people matter. The quality of our courses affects everyone involved: i-to-i tutees, i-to-i tutors, language schools worldwide and most importantly, the thousands of students who learn from i-to-i graduates every year.

This is why we constantly review the quality of our courses and the tuition that they offer. We believe that we are the very best at what we do and that our TEFL graduates will benefit from our excellent reputation.

There are 3 important questions that you should be asking when choosing your TEFL provider:

  1. Has the company/course been externally assessed and if so by who?
  2. Is the company established and respected within the TEFL field?
  3. How many graduates have actually found teaching work abroad as a result of this course?

International Recognition

Because of our attention to detail and the quality of our courses, i-to-i is accredited by the ODLQC. This means we are inspected and assessed to ensure that our courses meet the very highest standards in our industry.

There is no single internationally recognized TEFL qualification. What is accepted by schools in China may not be accepted by schools in Australia. To address this problem we chose to work with the ODLQC. By gaining accreditation by the ODLQC we have ensured that our TEFL certificates are amongst the most widely recognized on the planet.

Because of the high standard of our courses, schools all over the world actively seek out i-to-i graduates for TEFL teaching jobs. It’s also the reason that 94% of our graduates would recommend i-to-i TEFL courses to their friends.

The Open and Distance Learning Council (ODLQC)

ODLQC is the British government’s guardian of quality in open and distance learning. It was set up in 1968 to monitor and enhance quality in training and education.

The ODLQC have strict standards to which course providers must conform.  It’s not just the quality of our courses that the ODLQC assesses, but the whole process from start to finish. Our ODLQC accreditation means that our courses have passed a rigorous evaluation and continue to be monitored regularly.

"This is a significant success for i-to-i and clearly demonstrates their commitment to the highest standards in their work"

Dr David Morley, Chief Executive, ODLQC
