It’s common knowledge that most students are pretty skint. You have to pay for your accommodation, your course, your books (your nights out, your new wardrobe…) and your only income is that teeny weeny student loan! The National Union of Students introduced their discount cards to help you out a little and we’d like to as well!
We’re offering a 10% discount on all TEFL courses, paid teaching opportunities and Volunteer Travel experiences for any NUS Extra or NUS Associate card holders.
How do I claim my discount?
It’s simple. Just quote "NUS" when you book your project. Your expert travel advisor will take your unique 18 digit identification number (printed on your NUS card) and you’ll be good to go!
What if I don’t have an NUS Extra or NUS Associate card?
The NUS Extra card is only available to university students (this does not include Open University students). You should be able to pick one up at your university union. The card will cost £10 but it will save you a fortune!
The NUS Associate card is open to university students (including those studying at the Open University) and sixth form/college students. It will set you back £7 (£10 for Open University students) but that’s nothing compared to how much you’ll save! There are two ways to apply for an NUS Associate card:
- Over the phone by calling 0870 423 5001
- Over the internet at www.nusonline.co.uk/associate/
It can take up to 28 days for your card to be delivered so make sure you apply well in advance.
This discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
