The Meaningful Travel Photography Competition 2007
The time has come for us to throw down the gauntlet, to slap you across the face with a travel-worn glove and challenge you to a photographic duel with your fellow travellers. This is your chance to prove your prowess with a camera by entering your favourite photos into the Meaningful Travel Photography Competition 2007!
Fantastic prizes…
All kidding aside, we're offering some fantastic prizes and the chance to have your photo published on the i-to-i site. We'll be picking the best of the bunch every month and sending the lucky winner a brilliant Lonely Planet travel photography guide and a US$600 i-to-i voucher!
But that's not all…
On 15th December 2007 we'll be holding a Grand Final where we'll decide which of our lucky winners deserves to be called the Meaningful Travel Photographer of the Year! This prestigious title will be accompanied by our Grand Prize – your choice of a tour of either Thailand or South Africa!
What we're looking for…
We want exceptional pictures that will really catch the judges' attention, so this is your chance to get creative! There are seven categories and each of them focuses on a different aspect of meaningful travel. They're listed below:

- Breathtaking views
- Teamwork
- Wildlife

How it all works…
You can enter as many pictures as you want into as many categories as you want. Take a look at our list of categories and see which one best suits your photo then send it to photos@i-to-i-competitions.com. Please include your name, address, details of when and where the picture was taken, and any other relevant information.

And as if all those fantastic prizes weren't enough, we're also offering a US$200 i-to-i voucher for any photo that we use in our promotional material!
The small print…
By entering the competition, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here:
- Pictures must be in JPG format, minimum 450 pixels wide.
- Email size must not exceed 4Mb.
- Entrants must be over 18.
- Entries must be your own work.
- The competition is not open to employees of i-to-i or their families.
- Monthly prizes will be judged on the first Monday of each month, beginning July 2007.
- The Grand Prize will be judged on 14th December 2007.
- For images used in i-to-i promotions, a one-time offer of a US$200 i-to-i voucher applies per photo.
- Entries must not have been previously published.
- We cannot return any entries or acknowledge receipt of images.
- Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- We reserve the right to disqualify any material we deem unsuitable.
- i-to-i reserves the right to unlimited royalty-free use of any pictures submitted for the competition, for promotional purposes, in all media.
- Flights are not included in the Grand Prize.
- The Grand Prize winner is required to submit a photographic diary of their tour; the pictures are subject to the competition rules.
