As the year of the Rooster is fast approaching, we took a closer look at this zodiac sign. People born in the year of the Rooster are very observant and resourceful with some of the most suitable jobs for them being teacher or travel writer.

...Teacher...likes travelling...now that sounds very familiar. Huh, that’s what we like, too. At i to i we’ve been helping people teach English and travel the world for ten years. To mark Chinese New Year, we decided to take a closer look to see who is teaching English in China, and why it has become one of our most popular internship destinations.

  • Since 2009 there have been SIX times more internship bookings to China
  • China is the most popular TEFL location for people from the UK, Ireland, and Australia
  • Women are now most likely to be heading out to China. There are over twice as many women as men heading to China in 2016 compared to 2009.
