BRINGING A TASTER FOR TRAVEL TO LEEDS
i-to-i hosts international representatives from Asia and Africa

Leeds based meaningful travel expert i-to-i is bringing the overseas experience to the UK next week as it opens its arms to its overseas representatives from India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, China, Thailand, Ghana and Nepal.

The In-Country Coordinators will be dropping by for the company’s bi-annual conference and to meet prospective volunteers at next Saturday’s i-spy open day at the Metropole Hotel, Leeds.

The i-spy opens its doors on Saturday 23rd September at 10am and will be a rare opportunity for anybody thinking about volunteering overseas to pick the brains of the experts from some of the most popular worldwide travel destinations.

In addition to the i-spy, i-to-i will be showing its overseas friends a typical Yorkshire experience to welcome them to Leeds, taking them crown green bowling at Horsforth Bowling Club followed by a good old fish and chip dinner!

i-to-i founder Deirdre Bounds comments “we are really looking forward to welcoming our In-Country Coordinators to Leeds. They do a fantastic job at our projects and with our volunteers and are the perfect ambassadors for their countries. I’m sure they’ll have a great time in Leeds next week and not only pass on their wonderful cultures and experiences to us, but also take a little bit of our culture back with them!”

With 500 individual projects ranging from 1-24 weeks in 22 countries, i-to-i enables people to get involved in community work, conservation, teaching English, health, the media, building and sports. In addition to the projects, paid teaching placements are available in six different countries, as well as numerous meaningful tours, which offer the opportunity to combine travel with worthwhile work.
