Unlike most of the other attractions in Peru, not all of the projects we work with are perched on top of the highest mountains! Helping Peru doesn’t require walking boots or a strong pair of calves, just lots of enthusiasm and compassion. Bring the boots anyway though because a trip to Peru isn’t complete without a visit to the Inca Trail, and your time off from helping Peru is the perfect time to explore it too!
Peru has a growing urban population unmatched by resources and the result is that many live in acute poverty. Helping Peru means getting involved in projects up and down the country and meeting the present-day Peruvians before trekking up the mountains to meet the ancient ones!
