The country remains one of the poorest in a relatively poor continent and the projects we partner help Honduras by working with the most vulnerable people and environments. Honduras has had a turbulent past; cross-border skirmishes, interference from western governments and of course Hurricane Mitch has left mental and physical scars on the country.
