Corporate Groups

HBOS

Many companies have been considering the social and environmental effects of their business strategy for years.

The i-to-i Employee Volunteering Abroad Programme has grown in response to demand from progressive organisations who want to take their commitment one step further. In the last couple of years we have worked with HSBC, Danone, Skipton Building Society and Standard Chartered Bank.

Our portfolio of 500 volunteer projects across 35 countries are led by a team of over 150 experienced staff and overseas partners. Most of our corporate clients have been involved with environmental, building and education projects, but we do understand that every organisation's needs are different, so our range of corporate projects have been chosen for their flexibility.

"By launching a unique sabbatical policy with i-to-i, Danone enabled its staff to spend time in developing countries, working on programmes designed around conservation, teaching, caring or building.  In doing so, they can share their own skills whilst gaining new insights and drawing on the experiences of others."

Liz Ellis, HR Director for Danone UK
