    Hi,
    Hi,

What danger are you referring to.

    Ashley,
India is a safe place. I say this in spite the fact that the city of Bombay (or Mumbai) had terrorist attacks. I was born there but have been in Bangalore since 1989. I, with the help of volunteers and paid teachers, bring education to under privileged children.
    Regards
    Archie

India is relatively safe. While you will not experience terroist attack, you will definitely experience people trying to pickpocket you or always haggling you. It's not pleasant. Avoid big cities. Either South India or North, beyond Delhi and Bihar is better.

I fell in love with india when i went, its as safe as any other place, as long as your careful. The people are Ace! really friendly. I did a circuit around the outside- Mumbai, Jaipar, Agra, Deli, jajapur, vishakhapatnum, hyderabad, chennai, puducherry, cape comorin, trivandrum, cochin, goa and back to mumbai.

Im saving to go back and do the middle!

Really recommend anyone going. But as Faris said the begging will drive you mad, its heart breaking sometimes. But as dangerous its safer than the UK.
