After this rapid growth, people were drawn to the cities in their thousands leaving many migrants out of work and many rural communities desolate. The locally run projects we work with are looking for people to volunteer in the Dominican Republic. These projects help to support under-privileged communities in both urban and rural areas and also try to promote sustainable agriculture.
