About Me

Hello, I'm Andrea! Ever since I was little, I had the urge to get out of my hometown where I felt "trapped." I've always had a passion to travel and to help people out. I enjoy being around people; I'm just a people-person. I love little kids! One of my dreams is to go to Africa!! That dream is going to come true in March, when I make my trip to Nakuru, Kenya, where I'll be working with children. If you want anymore information just ask =)

Hi there Andrea! How was Africa? I am heading out to Nakuru next week to work with the children, needless to say I'm excited but sooo nervous! Any information or reassurance would be much appreciated! What did you do at the weekends? Any tips on where to go etc? Many thanks, Katy xxx

Thanks for commenting on my campfire about Mount Keyna. I have read that you were leaving on March 3rd. Where did you go and where are you now. Its so exciting isnt it - this is my first time but I think you are an experienced traveller now? LOL. So if there is any tips/information you can let us have about Keyna and you get time it would be great to hear from you again. The place we are going to be working at is Toto Support Care Group. Hi - my name is Janice and a friend and I have just booked to go to Mount Kenya Feb 2011 working with children in an orphanage. Is that what you are going to do too? I just wanted to write to say I wish you lots of luck with your adventure and how I wish I were going next week. It would be great if you could keep in touch and let us know how you get on and any tips advice etc would be greatly appreciated. hi Andrea, sorry for the delay, I've been out of the office on holiday! I went to Mombasa back in March 2009 which was amazing then took the train to Nairobi for a few days. How are you feeling about your trip? Are you excited! I'll be happy to try and help with your questions so fire away! Katie
