This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Winning this trip of a lifetime, one that from a financial point of view I cannot ever really seeing myself being able to afford, would literally change my life, shake up my world and give me another perspective. Hey guys! Yeah it sounds like everyone is booked for their trip. Excellent!
I will be there from August 3- September 1. Currently I am booked on the community work with special needs program but am looking to also do or switch to the work with children in the hospital. Either way I think we will be there at the same time Fiona21, remind me again when you will be there?! I'll be flying from Washington D.C. What about you? Hopefully we will be there at the same time!!

Well done that's brilliant! I'm sure you'll have an unbelievable time. I've been on the verge of booking since January and I eventually booked two weeks ago! Whereabouts is your project?

I am all booked up!! Hooray!! Took me long enough but got there in the end. I have signed up for the community work with special needs children, very excited. Although like you LACarr, not looking forward to the jabs!!

Travelgirl - I guess we will be there the same time. What date and where are you flying from??

I heard about this through a programme on RTE1 No Frontiers, one of the presents went to the Lion Park and I fell in love! I've always loved the Big Cats nature programmes and have wanted to go on safari since I could say the word. I've found i-to-i very helpful so far; Sarah Orpwood whom I was dealing with is just back from there and gave me a great run through of a typical day. I'll be there for 2 weeks which is all I can get off from work. I can't wait - I wish I was going tomorrow. Mind you I'm not so keen to get the jabs!!!

Yeah that is one of the projects I have looked at. I think its about the 17 August I was looking at, is that when you fly out? how long will you be there for? I was looking at 4-6weeks but not sure. Also, what made you book through i to i? There are so many different organisations to choose from, I have no clue but this one looks like one of the best I have seen so far. Did someone recommend to you?

I'm off to South Africa on the 15th August to work at the Lion Park outside of Jo-burg. Going to wrestle with some lions and babysit a giraffe toddler!
