All my top fundraising tips
To start off book your trip about 7 months ahead i booked my in Nov 08 and i am not going till july 09 so my top tips are:
1) bag packing if you dont have anyone to do it with you do it anyway (in 3 days i raised about 800 euro and i did it twice)
2) your school, college or work place (raised about 300 euro)
3) on the street ( i did it in my town on paddys day raised just over 100 euro)
4) get your best friend to do some thing in there work place ( i got one of mine to do it and she rasied over 200 euro)
5) door to door (in your town raised over 100 euro)
6) my best tip is a fundraising night ( put up posters in your town get i live band you my get it for free have a drow and food dos not have to be alot i raised over 1500 euro)

I'd also say it worth asking your school, college or uni if they have bursaries or provide funding for students planning to volunteer. I got £200 from my school when I volunteered in Fiji and then £250 from my university when I went on an expedition to the Philippines!
