About Me

I haven't done any kind of travelling for years, so I can't wait to get out to India this Summer! After my trip I'm moving to Essex to begin training as a primary school teacher, and I'm hoping to learn a lot in India- not only about the culture and people, but also some handy teaching tips!! The plan is to go somewhere completely different every Summer... thanks to the 6 week break from school :)

I went to Ecuador in 2003 and it was an incredible experience, we managed to see so much in just one month. Traveling is a great opportunity to meet new people, understand different cultures, and truly open your eyes to so many things... I hope to meet some fantastic people in India this Summer... if anyone's been there before or planning a trip this year please get in touch and hopefully we can share some stories! I'll admit, I'm slightly nervous about traveling that distance alone!

Hey Simon,

We've had a quick look and there are two other travellers starting your project on the same day as you, unfortunately they're not on Campfire yet but we have emailed them and they hopefully soon will be!
