Hi! I heard back about next year, I got in so I'm definitely going to Cambodia now! 5th-26th June, flying from London Heathrow probably then to Bangkok, then Bangkok to Phnom Penh. Am booking everything this week. Just checked out vaccinations etc, pretty expensive! Have you got yours?
Thought since we are both in Aberdeen anyway it might be an idea to meet up for a coffee? Be nice to know someone a bit before going!

Hi! I haven't booked anything yet, I'm waiting to hear back about whether I got a post-grad place at uni for next year - if I don't get it I will prob need my savings for next year but if I get in am definitely going! Should hear back in week or so. I got a good tip about flights - apparently it's cheaper to fly to Bangkok then get a cheapy flight to Phnom Penh. Might go a couple of days early and spend 2 nights in Bangkok if I'm stopping over there anyway.
8 hours wait on the way back - that's mental! Definitely need a good book : b
How much info about the accommodation etc do you get? Have you got visa etc sorted? June seems really close, are you excited?

Hey, sorry I took a obscenely long time to reply! For a long time it looked like I might be moving to Ireland instead of going away in the summer - long story ; b
I'm 90% definitely going to Cambodia for the 5th June, still sorting out stuff though. Where are you flying from? Did you get a good deal? At the moment it looks like the cheapest flights are from Heathrow - still £700ish though eek!

wow, your tres organised! must get my crb check done soonish then! yeah apparently, we share 2 to a room. i did in india anyway and in china we shared 6 to a big room! guess it depends on how large or small the room is! im so excited! even though its a long way yet! are you planning on bringing stuff for the kids? like arty stuff?

Hiya, very jealous that you're off to Cambodia. Would love to have made it there while I was in Vietnam but just didn't have the time/money once I'd finished my i-to-i project! You'll have an amazing time, I'm sure :)

a crb check is a security check you have to have before you work with children. you have to have it before you leave. x

lol ...very impressed! yeah i have, i ve been to china and india with i to i. and its been great both times! cant wait for cambodia...cant believe im going for 3 months! have you sorted out your crb check and visa yet? x
