This competition literally means everything to me. I'm now truly beginning to discover who I am, and find the path I need to be on. Hi Rosie, Yep Im still in Cusco & its brilliant. However Ive had nothing but trouble from i to i so im having nothing to do with them anymore. Im here for another ten days so if you want to meet up id be glad to show you some of the town & meet some very nice people here. I have heard you are going to a school called Khipu which is a private school with 4 English teachers & more resources than you can imagine. I was there for about 6 weeks & had a great time but dont imagine for a moment your going to be leading a class for impoverished peasant children cause these guys parents pay a quarterly fee to attend this school, everyone has a nice uniform & even tipex pens. I dont have a tipex pen in the UK, so I hope this gives you more information & allows you to prepare for the adventure. I have informed the school that they will be getting a new volunteer, so if you have any trouble, the teachers should be at my leaving party next weekend so we can get them drunk & get some dirt for leverage. If you need anything just drop me a line & ill help out anyway possible.

Hi Rosie. Am off to Quito on 4th Oct, then up to Amazon until 6th Nov, when I fly down to Lima. Up to Cusco on the 8th Nov, so see ya there. I´m working until the 4th Dec, then of travelling around for between 2 & 5 weeks, if I want to extend my ticket, and hang around Titicaca or something like that for Xmas. I´ll give you a shout when I´m down there. For the moment, it´s just a big "hello" from San Cristobal in Galapagos!!! Take care, Andy T x

Hi Rosie, Im here in Cusco already & doing my teaching placement at the moment. Some i to i volunteers from Lima are coming over next weekend so were going to Macha Piccu then. I saw a woman in the street yesterday who´s legs were bitten to shreds by the mossi´s up there so my advice is take plenty of repellent. Ive seen the Nasca lines, Paracas wildlife reserve & several of the museums local to Cusco as well as some of the closer archaeological ruins. I want togo to Lake Titicaca some time next month & also meet up with some volunteers in Calca. Let me know when you get here & we´ll meet up.
