About Me
Hey! I'm Nikki, a keen traveller and animal lover. I've travelled extensively throughout Europe, to Thailand and the Pacific and in 6 weeks I head off to India for two months. I can't wait!
In India I'm having a holiday and also doing research for my PhD, which is about positive forms of animal-related tourism in the Asia Pacific region. I'll be working with all sorts of different animals, improving welfare, doing species surveys (with leopards!) as well as finding time to explore the country. I've wanted to go to India for a long time so am very, very excited :-)

Today someone asked me, "Aren't you afraid of always travelling alone?" "No," I replied, thinking about this for a second, "Because I am never alone!" Wherever I have gone in the world I have met wonderful people who have inspired me and contributed so much to making my trips life changing experiences. This post is to remember some of those people! Like Rosie, in London, who showed me all the cool bars in and out...
