Gap year travellers heading out to Australia might want to make a stop-off at one of the country’s most well-known cities.
The Two Feet and Heartbeat’s Eat Drink Walk tour is taking place throughout April and May, according to Experience Extraordinary Western Australia.
It was initially planned to coincide with the City of Perth’s Eat Drink Perth events, but proved "so popular with tourists and locals alike", that it has been extended to these times.
The event will provide visitors with the opportunity to see some of the city’s latest restaurants and enjoy drink tastings and tapas at a number of its bars.
According to the organisation, this experience combines "culture and history with weird and wonderful local stories".
The price of admission to a tour is $40 (£24).
Suite101.com recently recommended that travellers in Australia should try diving in Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef between March and July as they may be able to see whale sharks in the water.
