Sydney “has just about everything”

Posted 27 May 2010

Sydney "has just about everything" A tour of Australia on a gap year travel should include a stay-over at one of the country’s most well-known cities, it has been suggested.

Daily Telegraph writer Mark Chipperfield has noted the best things on offer for prospective tourists in the famous destination.

The journalist noted that as well as the harbour, the area "has just about everything a visitor might desire".

This includes beaches for surfing, "flamboyant" nightlife and plenty of options when it comes to shopping and eating out.

It is also home to the Sydney Opera House, which Mr Chipperfield stated is now considered "one of the greatest architectural feats of the 20th century".

For the active traveller, joining one of BridgeClimb’s expeditions could be on the cards as they will get the chance to scale Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The even more energetic tourist might want to enter in the country’s first International Adventure Marathon, which will be taking place on July 31st.
