One woman’s Argentine sabbatical led to a life-changing passion for dancing the tango.
Sarah Keller, 34, told the Times of her experience in Argentina. She decided to take a sabbatical to learn tango in the South American country for six months.
However, during her time studying in Buenos Aires, she discovered that her priorities were changing.
On returning to London, she returned to her job as a successful literary editor only to quit and go back to Argentina.
Ms Keller explained her travelling experiences offered a welcome respite from the intense working environment in London, which was "stifling the life" out of her.
"In the tango, in the dancehalls of Buenos Aires, I found everything that I’d been looking for," she said.
"Now I want to keep learning, to get better and better."
Tango originated in Argentina in the 19th century. It was initially danced in bars and cafes, but has emerged as one of the most passionate dances in the world, according to ToTango.net.
