Gap year or volunteering abroad travellers may like to take advantage of the latest offer from accommodation website HostelWorld.

The firm is celebrating its tenth birthday by giving away 10,000 euros, which will be distributed between ten lucky winners in denominations of 1,000.

All gap year travellers have to do to take advantage of the offer is make a booking through HostelWorld’s website between now and August 5th.

Every day over a ten-day period, winners will be announced after being selected at random. Other prizes are also up for grabs, including Northface backpacks and iPod touch mp3 players.

Last month, HostelWorld celebrates the two millionth download of its homemade city guides, which include advice on destinations such as Beijing, Sydney, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
