Gap year travellers heading to Africa could take part in a tour in Kenya that is designed to help the soul.
The expeditions have been launched by Shampole lodges and promise an "exciting and exclusive" experience for participants.
Led by a yoga teacher, the events promise to "unfold personal spirits and enhance the full richness of life".
The experience is called African Body Works and aims to help visitors deal with passive stresses, such as irritation, backaches and mood swings.
A three-day package would include meals and accommodation along with specially designed classes in yoga, meditation, breathing and body works.
The organisation stated: "Guests will come away feeling relaxed and revived having learnt some key techniques to combat everyday stress."
Daily Mail journalist Jane Bussman recently recommended volunteering in Kenya – such as teaching schoolchildren – to travellers who would like to spend their time abroad to benefit those less fortunate.
