More than two-thirds of skilled employees across the world are interested in working overseas, a new study has found.
Research by The Network found that of nearly 50,000 people polled, 69 per cent would consider taking a job in another country, reports Onrec.
This is up from 62 per cent two years ago, which indicates that workers are becoming increasingly flexible with regards to furthering their careers.
Steven Lewis, managing director of The Network, commented: "The labour market for qualified staff has become more and more global."
He stated that specialists are becoming highly open-minded about the possibility of uprooting and pursuing job opportunities abroad.
Mr Lewis added that this means more recruiters are having to position themselves as international employers if they wish to attract the best staff.
The findings come after Workingmums.co.uk revealed that a growing number of British mothers are interested in taking jobs which offer flexible working.
