Blonde songstress Anastacia has revealed that although she has been to some stunning places in the past, she is hoping to go to the popular gap year destination of Thailand in the future.

Discussing her holiday loves and hates with the Telegraph, the American ’I’m Outta Love’ singer said that Thailand is at the top of her travel priority list.

This is partly because she is in love with exotic beaches and has heard it through the grapevine that Thailand is home to some of the world’s best.

"I’m a huge beach fan and I’ve heard that the beaches there are even more beautiful than the Caribbean, particularly Krabi, so that’s on my wish list," she explained to the newspaper.

The vocalist also gave a tip to those taking a gap year abroad – not to get tetchy when delays occur, as looking at things from a positive viewpoint can help to keep stress levels down.

Anastacia is currently on tour with Chaka Khan and Lulu, as part of the Here Come the Girls tour. Some of the locations the trio are set to take in along the way are Manchester, Birmingham and Blackpool.
