Should I use my passort again?

I have something to say and I apologize beforehand if I have offended anyone but in times like this with the immense financial crises in the developed world and not to mention my own personal struggles I will not spend any more of my precious time writing up any more articles on Campsite. Once again I have realised that this is yet another portal for TEFL that is just full of smoke.
I receive emails upon emails about how wonderful it is to be in the TEFL community, I took up a course with the little money that I saved, when I could I put in an entry in the competitions and then this chance comes up for an Internship in Poland; It could not have been any better, unemployed I have the opportunity to start January, February, when ever, I am also a hard worker, enthusiastic, dedicated, an EU citizen with a valid passport ,a Native English Speaker, without a criminal record hell!!! I don't even drink, but..... I can’t even attempt to apply and why is that because I don't have the right passport (US, UK, Ireland, Australia, Canadian, New Zealand) why do I need to be exactly form one of these countries to be able to apply are these guys smarter, kinder, more trustworthy, why is it that despite the fact that we have some many other types of stereotyping and discrimination that we have to have passport differentiation on TEFL. TEFL I suggest that you create a webpage with an encrypted code just for citizens in this countries because they are ones that really matter, oh no wait I forgot you still the cash form stupid people like us the Bulgarian's, Indian's, Nigerian's, Syrian's and all those others that just wish to take up a career as an English teacher.
I am ranting here because while this internship could make a difference in my professionals career, I don't even stand a chance and why because I don't have the right passport.
TEFL I am disappointed really outraged and downright disgusted, what value am I to my students if I always need to rely on droppings from your organization, your events and programs, do you know how I learn; browsing on open source pages with half baked truths, reading outdated books, and experimenting on my dear students.
You know what I’m throwing this question out to you guys you all who post articles travel do the ‘Eat Pray Love’ stuff what do you think, what do you really think about this? Read it and weep!! TEFL to me has become another block to climb hmm... never thought I would see the day.

"What you need to do the internship:

* Minimum 140 hours of TEFL training
* To be able to arrive in Poland on January 31st, February 13th or February 27th 2011 and stay for 5 months.
* To be a native English speaker
* To have completed a full university degree
* To be between 23 and 35 years of age (if you don't fall in this age range call us to discuss your options - you may still be able to apply)
* A passport from the UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand
* A sense of adventure, an open mind, and a willingness to work hard! Remember that things may work unexpectedly overseas so it’s important to have a flexible approach!"

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your frustration with the Poland Internship. Of course the passport you have has no bearing on how smart, kind or trustworthy you are. The TEFL industry isn't perfect. Our partner in Poland runs a chain of private language schools and the parents who send their kids there only want teachers from native English speaking countries - this is obviously flawed - as long as you speak English fluently it shouldn't really matter which country your passport is from. We're committed to changing the industry and our head of product is going to contact our partners for the Poland Internship to see if it would be possible for them to accept applications from native English speakers from any EU country.

Hopefully this will come through, but if it doesn't please don't think this is your only chance to find a TEFL job - with your TEFL certificate and EU passport you should be able to find a TEFL job overseas with a little hunting. There's some good advice here about how to do this: http://www.onlinetefl.com/tefl-jobs-abroad/find-your-own-work.html

Hope that clears things up but if you have any other questions or concerns please get in touch on +44(0)871 781 1123.
