Looking forward to taking the Malaria tablets! (Is that wrong??)

So tommorow is Friday 7th May.

And its important for only one reason... Not the results from the ballots, nope.

It is in fact the day I begin my Malaria meds, exactly 2 weeks before I fly to Zanzibar!

So excited about this that work collegues thought I had developed ADHD this afternoon and friends have felt the need to remind me that taking all the meds at once doesn't mean time has moved faster and I get to go sooner! lol

And although I still have all the same things to buy and pack, an MA essay due, and a TEFL course to complete, I look forward to doing these things as they mean that D-Day is drawing nearer and very soon I'll be strolling through glorious Stone Town and wet and windy Herford will be just a distant memory... (For a while).

Peace out! Xx

I think it is just the simple argument

If you dont take Malaria and by chance you get Malaria by mosquito bites will you really regret for not taking the expensive Malaria medication? (Not all mosquoit bites lead to Malaria)

Or would you be happier to think you didnt take Malaria tablets and still unlikely to get Malaria because so many volunteers dont take Malaria medicine and dont get Malaria

Or The next scenario is you can take Malaria medicine and still might get Malaria? Are you going to think that you should have never taken it? (This is a very low chance)

or last scenario is you take the Malaria Medicine you dont get Malaria and don,t care about who takes it or who doesnt take it and think it is money well spent for keeping yourself healthy?

The Choice is Yours

I recently was in Cambodia despite my Country manages advice and others advice I took Malaria medicine anyway and did not get any Malaria during my visit
